Does Lego want their virtual building worlds to suck so they can sell more over priced kits? I wouldn't mind paying for a new release of this game if it was done with proper controls, multiplayer and creator controls including mods. Lego Worlds is just the newest video game available from the company behind those famous building blocks, but this game goes far beyond Lego Batman and other games that came out in the past. Our son was really excited to get this game and it ended up ruining our day. I don't know what else to say other than it's 2022, make cross-platform multiplayer a standard already. You have to at least give players an option to play the game in a way that makes sense for them, I am shocked that Lego would endorse an unrefined product like this and then let it rot for 7 years without proper updates. There are great examples of camera controls that work in game like this. The graphics, mouse controls, camera controls and other control options are abysmal, worse than abysmal, they make the game practically unplayable. First, I'm left handed and can't remap the controls so I have to contort my arm across the keyboard to play. Game based on the famous sandbox game that also tells a tale. If you like sandbox games with open-ended gameplay, or are looking for a decent Minecraft alternative, this game is for you unfortunately there just was not enough substance in the aimless gameplay loop for me to keep me coming back.
